Finding Formosa

Taiwan’s original name was Formosa, meaning “beautiful island” in Portuguese. For my grandmother's 80th birthday, my entire family travelled to Taiwan and toured the island, and as I learned more about my culture and the country, I also found that beauty within every corner of Taiwan.
